In May we went to watch a Jousting Tournament at Hall Place, which is very close to our house (we can even walk there if we want to). Sofronia, Ella and Simeon dressed us as ladies and a knight. We saw a lot of dancing, cooking, falconry, archery and even saw King Henry VIII. This year is the 500th anniversary of his coronation. Oh, and there was jousting, too. Only Simeon really enjoyed the jousting. Ever since the tournament, he has found various implements at home to act as his horse or lance. The only problem is that there are only ladies at home and knights don’t really like to joust with ladies.
