Is anyone else sick of halloween candy? My three older boys came home and put their candy bags on the scale. Four pounds a piece. I put half of it in storage for December along with all the extra that I bought and didn't distribute and the 60 full size candy bars that I bought a couple of weeks ago because they were only 15 cents a piece. Yeiks. I think we will just give candy for Christmas. Having it around is definitely not a great way for me to recover my girlish figure. Of course, Nathan went to the store Saturday and found all the halloween candy half price and bought three more bags. Help. We also have pumpkin rolls in the fridge and a gallon of ice cream in the freezer.
Did you all hear that we are moving to Montgomery AL next summer? Nathan is doing some more school there. Military and leadership education. We have heard conflicting reports about the intensity of the studies, but believe it will be a rest from the stress of his current job. It will also be good for his career and promotability.
The kids are doing what kids do. Soccer is almost over and I am counting days. We've had games or practices every day but Friday and Sunday for the last two months plus cub scouts and homework. I'm glad they've had a good season, but we'll all be happy when it is over. I'm pushing my time limit here. I'm certain the baby in my lap is going to lose patience with this soon so I'll see if I can get some pictures on here before she screams.
Love you
Miriam
