Malaga--close-down week two

After four cities, several castles, extensive Roman ruins, dozens of old Catholic churches, lots of museums and numerous other sights in just a week and a half we were ready for a rest before returning to temple service in Madrid; and Malaga, on Spain's famous Costa del Sol, was the perfect place to relax.
We skipped its churches and most of its museums, but did enjoy a kind of quirky one--antique cars and women's gowns collected by a Portuguese millionaire and housed in an unoccupied tobacco factory.
We visited a ruined castle on top of a hill overlooking the city and coastline,
and walked a great path from it leading down to the Alcazaba,

where we ran into our across-the-hall neighbors, the Cardons just as they were leaving.
 We explored the docks, with its large cruise ship
fancy ocean-going yachts,
and famous light house;
walked a promenade lined with up-scale stores,
ate at an open-air restaurant,
and took an afternoon to visit some botanical gardens.

It was a great two weeks.  We love Spain and its people.  And we love being back serving in its temple.
