Here are the Turkey Trot pictures as promised. The turkey trot is a 5K/10K race on Thanksgiving that was started in honor of a member of our ward who died a couple of years ago. The money from the race goes to a charity dedicated to juvenile diabetes. The past few years the scouts have worked the water table, but this year our family decided to run. Turns out we didn't really run together but still had a great time. All the boys did a fabulous job. Even Seth ran (walked) the entire 5K. Tabitha was in the sling most of the time because she was fussy and Abby ran in spurts so Nathan was stuck pushing an empty stroller. There were plenty of people who offered to jump in! These pictures were taken by a friend of ours except for the newspaper clipping from Florida Today. I am my mother's daughter, pictured carrying the trash I picked up along the way.
